Dear Friends and Family,

I am Dr. Stan Brett Yunker. I recently gradated and am awaiting a residency in Internal Medicine. Since I have time and a burden for under-served areas of the world, I have partnered with Global Volunteer Network to bring aid to the orphans of Vietnam. I will be heading off to Vietnam on March 17th, 2007. My goal is to bring educational materials and support services to the needy orphans of central Vietnam, specifically in the Da Nang area. I will be teaching them English, basic health and hygiene, and basic skills for daily living and development of a viable trade.

This will be a one month mission, but I hope this will lead to a lifelong relationship with and service to these under-served children. As I progress through my medical training, my goal is transist this outreach into an established health care/medical aid program.
